wassup guys. I've had the best few days!

First off, friday nite i'm at Joes working when i'm told that I havea couple people waiting to be seated in my section... Now, I'm not the best server, so I'm wondering "who the fuck would want to sit in my section??". About 15 minutes pass and a finally I get a table open, and who comes around the corner? my folks!! They drove 16 hours to come visit me and look at houses this weekend, I was so excited!!

Now saturday (yesterday), I woke up early and went and looked at houses w/ my folks, then we went to Taco Bueno and I had to go to work shortly thereafter. Turns out, I was the only closer, so I had to do tables and sidework, buuuuuut I made 140 bucks in like 6 hours, so thats pretty awesome (well, plus the 12 bucks i made for being there 6 hours). Anyways, looks like I'll be getting a new toy soon!!:)

Anyways, I'm off to look at more houses and work tonite.

long time since my last post.... sorry, its been pretty crazy around the richazar household.

interesting story though. I go to the bank today to get the money to pay for rent, and as I'm checking out and stuff guess who stops in to say hi.... the prodigal girl herself... Leah...
It's been about 6-8 months since I've seen Leah or really even spoken to her so this was quite an awkward surprise. She said she had seen my car in the parking lot and had to stop in and see how I was doing. I told her about how busy I had been with both jobs and school, and she mentioned how she was going to quit school after this semester b/c she was just getting tired of it (understandable.). Anyways, this led me to the conclusion that i'm pretty glad I've been single for about the last year (alright, so there was a couple times in between where i was kinda sorta with someone, but that doesnt really count. for all practical purposes, I've been single for a little over a year).

anywhore, long story short: I'm happy with how things turned out.

so I guess what I'd like to say is.... thanks anthony and dave.... for ruining my relationship with that dirty skanky whoring tramp :) lol.

this whole 2 jobs + school thing is killing me, I cant wait until I get a break and some time off. Good news is though, I made a bunch of money this weekend so I can start stuffing my mattress again. I also aced my first quiz of the year, so that has me pretty stoked. I'm thinking about going to the batting cages tonite to celebrate, or to the driving range.

Also, I got Sin City yesterday... it is sooooo good, for real. A little grousome, but incredibly good. If you can stomach seeing a guy get his arms and legs cut off and then get eaten by a dog, then its the movie for you. ****

it's been a hectic last week, to say the very least. A lot of drama went down, but luckily that storm has passed and I've moved on to happier things.

Firstly, I made decent money this weekend at Joes, about 200 bucks in 3 days so I'm pretty happy with that. My buddy Mendoza started working at BlockBuster so he gets to rent like 5 movies every couple days, so on sunday night we rented 5 movies, had Mendoza and Cristina over and watched movies and SouthPark until 6am. We all crashed until about 2pm and Cristina was nice enough to make everyone breakfast!! (it was soooo good!!) she made cinnamon/sugar french toast, cinnamon rolls, bacon, and scrambled eggs. THANK YOU CRISTINA!!!

I ended up working yesterday night and after work I met up with Cristina at Olive Garden and hung out with her for a couple hours, went to bed and now here I am.

nothing too special, but its been a fun last few days.

Going to Orlando in October to spend time with my cousin and Christmas will be spent with my family, ONLY my family. (ps - twan, trav, and zac... you guys are pretty much family, so dont sweat it).

but its too hard going back and forth, trying to balance everything... so Tulsa is going to be my new *home*.... that should even things out.... and make it easier on me in the process.

Been a rough last couple weeks for me. Getting ready for school, trying to set up a schedule for my 2 jobs and also dealing with my parental situation.....

lots of stress. Not sure what I should be doing, or how I should feel through all this. So far, I've just been trying to distance myself from it, but its tough when its your family. Doing good though at just stuffing my emotions :)

Anyways, I'm really glad classes started. I'm also really glad that I have my PSP to help me deal with my breaks between classes! I'm so hooked on this thing!!

Also, my mom came down for the day. She had a job interview down here at some Doctors office, and she said she's going to go back to school, so I'm pretty happy for her (regardless of all the shit thats going on).

Anyways, my brain is in too many directions to concentrate on this... w...t...f....

PSP Firmware 2.0 released yesterday.... in Japan....

It has a built in web browser so you can search the web with it, change backgrounds, change themes, play H.264 media files as well as a codec for mp4.

Can your DS browse the web? Play thousands of emulated games (for free!)? Play videos and movies booted from a memory stick (for free!)? Play MP3's?

note: the 2.0 firmware just came out, so it hasn't had a chance to be hacked yet... The 1.50 firmware has loaders, emulators and everything else going for it.... if you love 1.50, dont upgrade. if you dont run emulated games or loaders, then why not.

It's almost time to go back to Oklahoma for a little while, and its tough to leave again. I know that Oklahoma isn't my home, and I want so desperately to stay with my family forever. Anywho, onto what I'm really feeling, which probably is going to bore you all to death, but hear me out.

I've been in so many meaningless relationships in my life that its hard to distinguish between what was real and what was fake. I've been in love twice, or I should say, I've been in a mutual-love twice. There have been a few girls that I've fallen in love with that never knew about it, and most likely, never will. Most recently though, I've been on a string of meaningless *relationships* (if you can even call them that) with girls that....well.... meant nothing to me. But I'm getting older, and nearing real life, and I hate the idea that it could be spent alone. At the same time, I hate the idea that it could be spent with someone who will make it miserable.

So I'm caught in a catch 22. Do I risk getting attached to someone that (my past relationships have taught me) will rape me emotionally, or just chill and live life on my own terms but face being incredibly lonely at times....

Fuck it, I'm young. I really dont need to even be thinking about this crap.

Let me start off by saying that I really hate dealing with people. The service industry is such a crock of shit. I can't wait to graduate and get a job where I'm not dealing with customers in a regular basis. Or at least have a job to where the pay is enough to counter the crappy customers. I swear, I had the worst few tables today, as well as being sat 5 tables all at once (stupid ass hostess).

But, the money is good, and I'll be able to pay my lease up pretty quickly. I really want to move in with my sister when she comes down here! Plus it will make it easier and cheaper to keep going to ORU (like 22k a year... argh!). That, and it will be so much nicer having some family in town. I miss you guys so much!

I have to work at Express tomorrow, and hopefully I'll have tuesday off to do some laundry and deposit some money. Lata!

I need advice people... I'm going to need serious feedback on this, because I'm totally and utterly and completely fucking lost...

Firstly, what am I supposed to look for in chics? It's been a pretty long week, so i apologize ahead of time for not posting for so long. I did end up getting The Incredibles as well, and I'm really impressed! Hilarious movie!! I got it 2 days ago and I've watched it about 4 times so far.

Oh, HAPPY EASTER by the way. I totally forgot it was even Easter Weekend until yesterday morning lol. Didn't do anything special, went to church and then went to Chili's to get some food with Caleb, Joel, Andre and Salazar. I'll be posting pictures of some of the guys here soon, I just have to get them off my phone and into my computer one of these days, but I have some pretty funny ones I'll think you'll enjoy.

I had to work all weekend of course, and then I had a little extra time to go shopping at Big Lots and a couple thrift shops with Mendoza and Salazar, so that was pretty funny! Trying to find some cheap stuff :) Gotta save as much money as I humanly can this summer.

It's been a long week and its sad to leave home, but good to be back at school. I had a great time with my family and friends (and some new friends). Not sure whether or not I'll be taking summer classes this time around, but if I do, they'll be correspondance. I'm not sure I could survive another summer down here. I hung out with Travis a lot while I was home (love that guy! in a very very gay way.... lol jk). However, one person I was really excited to see, I barely got to see at all. Ash. So it's like 6:45 on saturday morning.... what the hell am I doing up so early?! Here's a rundown of the last couple days, and the next couple...

Yesterday I had class all day, then I went to work (which, mind you, I had requested off yesterday until next monday in early february.... but apparently that doesnt matter...). Anywhore, I got to stay an extra hour and a half to close both the mens side AND the womens side, as well as do replenishment... so I got out at about 11:30...

Got up early this morning (6:30) to take Caleb to the airport in a little bit, then I have to run to wal mart, and then to the bank, then run Joel to the airport. Then i have to work from 2-6 tonite, then pack, then clean my room, then go to bed and wake up at 4am to drive home at 5... Hopefully be home sunday night at about 8 or 9....

It's been a long week... I'm going to sit on my ass the ENTIRE time i'm home... So Hooplah is going to have to be at my house guys, b/c I'm not gonna be able to get up lol...

Before I get into the details of this, I'd like to make mention of how this country's legal system was founded on the belief of *innocence before guilt*. That it would be better to have a guilty man free than an innocent man imprisoned. With that being said, I'd like to go into my views on the Michael Jackson case (if any of you were following it as well).

Firstly, yes, Michael Jackson is an incredibly strange man who may have more problems than we care to count. He's had an incredibly difficult childhood and is obviously affected psychologically from it. He's a child trapped in a mans (?) body. He is a victim of his own generosity (ask Jay Leno, for instance).

Regardless of what happened in the previous case. He may have been guilty, or he may have been innocent. What happened in that situation should have NO affect on the current case. I understand that people will obviously let their emotion form the previous case spill over into this case, but that should not be grounds to be throwing accusations around.

So do I think he'll be found innocent? Yes. Here's why...

The prosecution will have no problem proving that MJ is a deeply wounded individual with emotional issues, but then again, that's common knowledge at this point. However, proving that he molested this 13 year old boy is going to be a much more difficult task given his mothers prior dealings with celebrities and the boys inability to keep his stories straight.

Let's start out with the mother though. Her credibility is minimal to say the least. She has admitted to being a scam artist in the past, as well as her lies of false imprisonment and twice lying about sexual abuse. She even managed to get $20,000 from one celebrity to furnish the boys room upon his release from the cancer treatment center. She then allegedly spent the money on household electronics and breast augmentation. It also turns out that her husbands medical insurance paid for the boys treatment in the first place, meaning the money was a non-issue. She has also tried to hussle celebrities such as Adam Sandler, Jim Carey, Mike Tyson, and Jay Leno (to name a few). Many of the celebrities she attempted to scam are being called as witnesses in the trial to Michael's defense.

The boy is also a large issue with the prosecutors. Apparently MJ molested the boy twice, but he has trouble recollecting those times and has 'dreamlike visions' of being molested other times (hence his inability to recall specific events).

Personally, I don't see how this case even made it to trial.... We'll see how it plays out though...

Unless he's found guilty, as for now, Michael Jackson is innocent.

why, what and who...

Since there's been so much debate about *beliefs* recently... I find it only fitting that I explain what, why and who I believe... Here's a few... Feel free to open up on any of them, or to elaborate...

I don't believe in evolution. I believe God created man and woman from dust (how He did this, I'm uncertain, but I believe it was an instantaneous event).

I believe the Big Bang was Gods way of creating the skys and the heavens. There's too much physical evidence supporting the expansion of the universe, and the Bible says that God spoke it into existance. An instant explosion of matter seems very relevant to what the Bible says.

I believe that the earth used to be a tropical climate all over due to a blanket of water that was released during the Flood. Afterwords, the world changed dramatically in climate due to the lack of that blanket and certain species could not servive in this new environment. (hence the extinction of dinosaurs). One more thing, since I know this will be brought up, I believe the dinosaurs and man lived side by side for some time until the great Flood. (in Job 40:15-24 God describes an animal with which Job was familiar. Simply calling the animal *behemoth*, his tail was like a cedar tree, and it was the largest animal that God had created. Also, I believe the mention of the *dragons* in the Old Testament were actually eluding to the dinosaurs at the time).

I believe in Unified String Theory, and superstring theory. I believe that it aptly describes HOW God can be omniscient and omnipotent, and how He can move about through time at will. I believe it also describes how God can be *the beginning and the end*, if he existed outside the parameters of time and space than He can see the future, past and present all on the same plane.

I believe that Jesus Christ walked the earth for 33 years and died on a cross for humanities sins.
I believe there was life on mars. Maybe not significant life, but life nonetheless.

I'm not saying that what I believe is fact... It's simply what I believe... I'll have to ask God when I get to heaven...

I've heard all the same arguments you have, and I've heard all the same rebuttals you have... But I'm still confused... there's a few things that don't make sense, so here are my reasons behind not agreeing with or believing in evolution....

Somehow the weiner dog has survived millions and millions of years of natural selection, whereas the sabre tooth tiger, velociraptor and wooly mammoth just weren't hardcore enough to survive. Same goes for the gerbil. Have you ever seen an aggressive gerbil or a pissed off crazy weiner dog? Now lets say the weiner dog and the gerbil went up against a velociraptor in the woods, aparently, the weiner dog and gerbil would whip some major ass... or at least thats what millions of years of evolution tells us....
If we evolved from monkeys and we're here as humans, and monkeys are still monkeys, how come there's no *half monkey humans*? Seems like if the bottom and the top made it, then the middle should have made it as well.... Also, if I were a monkey that didn't evolve (say... Cocoa the monkey). I'd be pissed as hell to still be a monkey. To look around and know that somehow my ancestors were too retarded to jump on the *evolve* bandwagon. Poor monkeys.... Just were too damn lazy....
Does that mean that we should shoot handicapped people? They just shouldn't be out spreading their *unclean* seed, screwing over future generations... Should we just release them into the wild and see if they can survive and make their way back to civilization in order to test their strength and intelligence?

Long 4 days since my last post, I'm one busy boy. I worked 4 days last week, and had 17 credit hours, also had TONS of homework last week, and it's not looking like its going to ease up in the coming days. I worked from 12-5 today and watched a movie until 7, then did homework until now (11). Now I'm going to bed because I have a 7:50 in the morning and I dont get out of class until 5:30.

So my birthday is on tuesday, and it looks like I'll be celebrating with classes until 5:00 and work from 6 until 11, very unexciting.

I think I'm going to celebrate next weekend though, regardless of my crappy work schedule (6-11 on friday and saturday). Just going out to dinner or something probably, nothing incredibly special for sure.

Just trying not to pay attention to the fact that tomorrow is Valentines day.... Trying... Trying... Man this sucks ass.... Fuck valentines day....

So for the last couple days, I've been in the BEST mood! Things have been going great for me, and it just keeps getting better. It's just a nicer experience down here having a car and a job and not having to worry about my parents paying for all my school, that, and its been really nice down here today...

PLUS! my 22nd birthday is right around the corner!! Not really doing anything for it as of yet, but still should be fun. I think I'm gonna go out the friday after (that way I wont have to worry about homework etc..).

My self esteem has gone up a lot recently too. I dont feel like as big of a dork as I used to, or at least I don't think I do. I used to be a huge introvert with *little man syndrome* where i had to act all big and bad b/c I'm short... Not so much anymore though, doing better at being confident :) Anyways, thats all I'm posting for today, just needed an update.

Only 12 more days until my 22nd birthday!! I'm getting pretty old ya'all. Not really sure what I'll be doing this year (especially considering that this will be the first valentines day in about 5 years that I wont' have a girlfriend. (formally anyways...). So I've decided to buy something nice for my computer for valentines day, as well as something for myself...

I'm heading to CompUSA this weekend to go look at some new fans and a fan controller for my HOT pc. Since I've been running it overclcocked, it peakes at about 55c and idles at about 40-42c. (thats the processor temp anyways). The case temp varies from 23c to 35c. I'm running 3 80mm fans right now and I'm going to pick up 2 120mm fans this weekend. In order to sleep at night, I'll need to turn the 120's off though, hence the fan controller. I also want to look at some liquid cooling options, won't buy anything like that until I'm unhappy with my performance though, and I'm really happy so far with my overclocked 3400+.

As for me, I'm getting some new clothes for Valentines Day. We just got all the new Spring stuff in at Express last weekend, so as an employee, I get first dibs on it all at 45% off. So I'm going to pick up a couple new pairs of jeans and probably a tie or polo.

Well, I'm out. Gotta go play some Tennis.

So I found out some bad news the other day... totally threw me for a loop, and sent me into a pretty melancholy state that I'm in still. So here's the news... but before I give you the news, you need to bone up on your *rob history*. Check this out before reading further....

So at the bottom of that post i wrote *she probably was and didn't want to feel bad about it*. Well, y'see, it turns out I was right (as I have a tendancy to be). KB told me during chapel last week that the reason she wanted to put things on hold was her idea. Apparently Leah had been cheating on me ever since I left school back in August and KB didn't think that it was fair to me... Aint that a bitch?! Man fuck that whore.

So now that my weekend was ruined by that news, work doesn't seem so bad. Or the fact that I had to work until 11 tonite, or the fact that I have to work at 7am tomorrow morning... Doesn't seem to bad at all.

Also, had a startling realization the other day... I need to buy a printer... I had to type out a 4 page film and literature analysis the other day and had to take my thumb drive to the copy center to print out the damn paper. So *note to self* take my first paycheck and buy a Canon IPX3000.

So me and Caleb have an unspoken 3rd roomate... his name is Joel... Joel loves Counterstrike Source, and Tiger woods PGA 2004. lol. It's not uncommon to walk into my room after class and see Joel playing video games or doing his homework, or sitting on my computer.... lol. just playin' joel!!!

Anyways, I've been working quite a bit more as well as getting more and more homework so I'm sorry if these posts become too spaced apart. But here's a rough idea of whats going on in my head...

I really like working at Express, so it's not bad going into work, but going to class until 4 or 5, then working until 11, then doing homework is starting to burn me out. I get home at 11:30 or 12:00, do homework until 1 or 2, then sleep until 6:30 b/c my first class is at 7:50. So far so good though, just stressful is all, and I've been drinking coffee like it were my lifeblood.

I've also missed talking to my few michigan friends (sorry guys, my schedule sucks really bad down here...) as well as my family. PS - If you have Cingular, get me your number. Free mobile to mobile lol, or if you plan on switching to cingular soon, keep me updated. It's tough trying to cultivate relationships from 1000 miles away (Travis can attest to this, he has been in a very similar situation). But I do my best, hope you guys can understand that...

Still haven't talked to Dave in forever. I see him online every now and then and want to say hi, but simply refuse to. I've always been easy to give in, be it with girls or friends, I'm too soft. But I'm getting better at being an asshole, and I'm trying harder everyday. I need to. Dealing with people like Leah, and various sister wingers, you have to be. Times are tough, so people have to get tougher, deal with it motherfucker! lol.

Sorry its been 5 days, but there's a reason... and its name is Counterstrike: Source. When I'm not at work, class or doing homework, I've been known to forgo eating in order to get in another half an hour of game-time online fragging, and being fragged. This game spanks Halo on my #1 PC shooter list (which is just above Unreal Tournament 2004). This game also forces me to do my homework much earlier than I had before, because I don't play unless all my shits done, so I've been doing homework directly after class so that I can play... Great game!!! But then again, I loooved the original CS, and still play it on our school Lan with a bunch of guys off my floor.

Anywho, my homework has been building up as well, but I can still deal with it. It's not extreme by any means, but there's quite a bit. As long as I keep it in check, then I shouldn't ever have a problem, even with work. Although 17 credits does still sound a little intimidating. So far so good, and I love my prof's! I'm having an awesome semester to say the least. Nothing but A's in the first 2 weeks, I can deal with that :)

PS - Travis is back home!!! Albeit in michigan, I'm still happy that I'll be able to see him when I go home, not in a gay way.... ok...yes... in a very gay way.... (Sorry about all the shit that went down with you and your fam trav, I'm praying for you buddy).

Been a pretty hectic last week if I do say so myself. However, I've been reading up on the PSP which has managed to make me pretty happy. I'm going up to EB Games to try and pre-order one today. I really truly hope this turns out to be the GBA killer, especially since the big *battery life* debate has been successfully squashed since it's Japanese release. I've been looking at the Need For Speed Underground screens and previews and I'm pretty impressed with this little sucker. 802.11b, 4.3" screen, PS2 graphics, memory stick slot to play MP3's, 32mb onboard, usb 2.0, and all this for under $200 (the price was about $185 with the currency exchange over in Japan). I've seen some import versions selling for about $400, but I'm willing to wait the 2-3 months to get my hands on one for the sub-200 dollar price. For the price ($50 more than a game boy DS...) it just can't be beat, given its functionality. It's also rumored that Sony is going to lose about 150 bucks on each unit sold, which is easy to believe given the reviews I've read on it, this thing is packing!

I've also decided to take my new gaming-rig on the road. There's a group in town called *TulsaLAN* who get together once or twice a month to play CS: Source, BF:V and a plethora of other games. I'm going to drop in on their february lan and check it out, should be a lot of fun. Plus it will give me a reason to have this computer other than typing papers and using it as a TiVO. (granted, I'll be using it some for my audio-prod lab and in the coming months for my multimedia courses, but for right now, this is its job).

Well, I'm going to get back to playing some Halo online before my next class.

Been a really busy last few days. Started classes on Wendsday last week and haven't stopped. Actually heading out today in a little bit to go do some homework (w00t). It's nice to be back though, seeing all the familiar faces and places, but I'm getting homesick already. The last four months I've been able to get so close to my sister and my nieces and its' rought just leaving again for another 3 or 4 months.

On another note, I got the job at Express and I'm scheduled for next week (still have to wait for Jamison to call me and give me my final schedule though). But it's a nice change of pace to actually be able to get a job down here, and to have a vehicle with which to get there lol. Thing's should work out a little better this semester because of it. Also, I talked to leah the other day to get the rest of my cables back (and my RF switcher, KVM switcher and my PDA power cable etc... she has TONS of cables and things of mine still). So I'm going to have Sam go and pick those up this afternoon so that I dont' have to see her or deal with her (makes things a little more pleasant.).

Nothing else really to report... I've just been getting ready for school and still slowly moving stuff from mini-storage into my dorm, and blowing every single penny i have on books, paper, and school supplies!! bah!!! Ok, thats all. I'm done. lol.

There and back again: an ORU students tale...

Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.... Or.... goodbye? I left Michigan on the 3rd to come back to ORU, other than rain the ENTIRE drive it was pretty good. Went and saw *Meet the Fockers* on the 2nd with Ashlee and Jason Dodge and then left at 7am on monday. Got down here at about 9:30 and went straight to sleep lol, from 9 until 12 on tuesday I was getting validated and moved into my room. Got a new roomate too, his name is Caleb (i hope i spelled that right), but he seems like a pretty cool guy, sure we'll get along fine, although it would've been nice to score my own room.... oh well...

I also realized that I've forgotten almost everything i own. well, either forgot it or left it in mini-storage which conveniently closes at 6pm. I forgot my dress shoes in there, as well as my shampoo, soap, towels etc... So after a late night trip to wal mart for some of those essentials, I'm situated.

Oh, and one more thing.... I have my stereo and all that jazz, but I can't hook anything up.... Because LEAH forgot to give all my cables and connectors and switches to boston... she just gave him all the hardware... soooooo i dont know what im going to do.... dammit....

A year in review...

2004 was a great year, Full of drama and renewal. Starting out in January 1st, the day me and Abby broke up for good. One year ago today I made one of the best decisions of my life, and dropped the anchor that was holding me back. It took me awhile to get over her, but like any addiction, it got easier and easier as time went on. February was my 21st birthday, which was really nothing special, went out and saw Gothika twice for it, pretty plain. April 4th, the day I asked Leah out, and we saw "50 first dates"... In May I began my summer classes, which all turned out super awesome!! I'm so proud of myself. August came around and I came home, and shortly after broke up with Leah and quit talking to Anthony. In September I met up with Ashlee again and we started hanging out again (After 2 years of not talking). October came and went rather uneventfully, other than my parents cruise. November I quit talking to Dave and Kyle, ditched 2 more friends, and had a fantastic Thanksgiving! December was crunch time for school so I started getting all my stuff ready for loans etc... Christmas came and went, me and Anthony started talking again, and now here I am, getting ready for school again.

It's been a good year, albeit a very quick year. Time seems to move faster and faster the older you get. What are my best memories though? The greatest of the great, and the worst of the worst.

Maybe you're right... maybe my folks are right... Maybe I am just a shitty person. It makes everything fit y'know? Thats why I've lost so many friends, thats why my parents aren't too fond of me. Thats why I've had so many girls screw me over. Maybe I'm just so fucked up that I can't see it. I dont know. For the last 2 days I've been gone with friends, and I screwed my family over. I knew I was while I was doing it, but it didn't seem to matter to me. Hindsight is 20/20 I suppose, and looking back at the last few months I can see that I had tunnel vision for "me". I don't know how I'm supposed to go about correcting this, and I'm not even sure if what I'm saying is true. I'm just not happy right now. I feel as if I've let my family down, and let myself down. For 4 months I did everything right, I tried so hard to be a good kid and make my parents happy and proud of me, but then I go and fuck it up in 36 hours. Nothing bad happened while I was gone, mind you. I just neglected my family, and thats enough. I know, I know.... I'm a shitty person... If you hate me, you probably have every right to, I hate me too.

Whats up everyone, in case you haven't noticed its Jesus' birthday, so get off your heathen stupid ass and fuckin' celebrate! lol. Thank Southpark for that line. Anywho, Christmas was pretty awesome, my grandparents flew in on Christmas eve so for the next 4 or 5 days there will be 9 people living in my house (me, dad, mom, sister, bro in law, 2 nieces, grandma and grandpa) hectic for sure. So yesterday we woke up at about 9 and watched my neices tear open their presents and everyone was taking pictures lol, apparently 1 camera simply wouldn't do, so 4 had to suffice. Afterwords I changed into some of my new Express clothes (piiiiiimp), and my aunts and uncles and cousins came over to have my dads side of the family party. I ate more than any person should in one sitting, but it was sooo good!!!

After the party me and travis were bored so we went out with renee and Ashlee, andy and his girlfriend to see *darkness*. Here's my review of *darkness* - what the fuck?! - the end. The movie wasn't worth stealing, let alone paying 7.50 for. It was however, worth it to hang out with ashlee and travis and everyone. We then went to the Exit but they were closed, so we split up and me and ashlee went back to her house and watched *Mean Girls* (yeah i know, i've seen that movie about a thousand times, but its hilarious, and lindsey lohan is wicked hot).

So it's been an interesting couple of days to say the least. For starters, its my final few days of work which is pretty sweet, and its also 3 days until Christmas!! :) Last nite I got a call from my boss and a couple other people i work with asking if I wanted to go to Great Lakes Crossings with them, so I said sure. Travis was online at the time and I asked him if he'd like to come and he said sure. I went and picked travis up and ashlee called me and I asked her if she wanted to come, and she said sure. So i went and picked up Ashlee and she told me that we had to wait because Courtney wanted to come lol. So we waited for Courtney and took off for GLC. We shopped for a bit, and ditched the people I work with and took off at about 9:45. Got some Cottage Inn pizza and called Troy to play some "Hoopla". We got ahold of Troy, Zac, Anthony, Jimmy and Renee and met at Troy's house with the food for some made board gaming. Renee was kind enough to bring over some bomb-ass cookies as well!!!

I wont get to far into the specifics of things, but a good time was had by all.But yeah, after some Hoopla, Travis and Zac decided to wrestle (and Travis whipped his ass... i'm sorry zac... he did.. lol). Ummm... what else... I guess thats really about it, then i just dropped ashlee off and came home at about 4am.

I'm disgusted. When I had a girlfriend, be it here or in Oklahoma, I always made sure that above all, I made time for my friends. I don't want to hear the line that you work and that you have such a hard job, fuck you. I also don't want to hang out with you and only hear you talk about how much fucking money you make. Get this, girls don't date a guy because of cars and money, but because of personality, or maybe you're just looking at the wrong fucking girls. There are 168 hours in the week, and if you work 40, and sleep for 8 hours a night, that still leaves you with 96 HOURS during the week, so don't give me your fucking lies about not having any time because you work so fucking much. Fuck you. You're girlfriend taking up that extra 96 hours a week? I understand some things, however, I don't understand that since October we've hung out once and that was for coffee because you were so fucking busy. since october?! fuck you man. I see how much this best friends shit is to by how you act. If you're going to pick pussy over me then fine, just make sure its a good pussy next time asshole.

Dealing with ORU....

ORU is the biggest pain in the ass to deal with. There's no communication between departments. I've had to fax my housing contract about 1000 times in the last few days, however, they still say that they've never recieved it and to fax it to xxx-xxxx-xxxxx.... aaah!!! lol. Anyways, I've got my classes all picked out, Here's my schedule as of right now...

I also have 2 labs for my MMC classes (Marketing and advertising in Multimedia, and principles of audio).

Thats right kids, i'm taking 17 credits this next semester, and to those of you who are thinking "raquetball?!". you need to understand my school. I have to take 1 phys ed class every semester if I'm enrolled full time, thats just how it is, its the *whole man* philosophy, the mind, body and soul. So we have to take normal classes, a phys ed class, and a bible class (new testament, old testament, charismatic life, etc...). Not to mention, on top of those 17 credits, we have 2 hours of mandatory Chapel services each week, so it's actually about 19 hours of *class* time, but only 17 of them are worth credit lol. I dont mind chapel though, there's always good speakers and awesome music, I LOVE MY SCHOOL!! :)

PS: we also have to have 2 foreign language courses to graduate, might as well get them out of the way now.... i hate foreign languages....

It's sunday... and I'm incredibly tired right now, here's a recap of yesterday for those of you who weren't there...

I woke up at about 9:30 and got ready for work as usual, grabbed some cash and took off. Stopped for gas on the way and decided to buy a different flavor gum than usual, and ended up choosing some *Eclipse: Cherry*.... bad decision.... They're ok i suppose, but they taste more like Halls cough drops than gum. After I got to work (assuming it was going to be crazy busy due to it being the last weekend to shop before Christmas), I noticed that we had 2 new girls working as well as like 20 other associates, needless to say we were way over-staffed which made the day tons of fun.

At work a bunch of my friends came up to visit (Ashlee, Josh, Anthony, Travis, Andy, Zac, my mom, and Linda Scharrer) at various times throughout the day, breaking up the monotony.

Me and Ashlee were talking about hanging out but she opted out when I mentioned hanging out with my boys (which I understand, still would have loved for her to be there.... maybe tonite....), Anyways, after work I met all the guys at Cinema Hollywood to see Blade: Trinity.... I wont even bother describing this movie... it doesn't deserve it... After the movie we went over to Troy's house and played a board game called "Hoopla" until 4am, lotsa fun!! Hope me and trav get to hang out more before I go back to school.

So I woke up this morning at 8:30 to the tune of "Rob, can you get the car started quick, dad needs to go to the hospital." Now that totally freaked me out, but it turns out it was *just* a kidney stone. Still sucks, he was in tons of pain and its just tough seeing someone go through that, regardless of how common or uncommon. Afterwords I helped my sister out some and took off for work... 9 hours at work, and now here I am. It was super busy today too, right up until closing (11).

Not really much of anything interesting other than that...

Haven't heard from leah in a few weeks, not sure how i'm going to react when i see her again in a couple weeks... going to be different for sure... Also I'm trying to decide whether or not I'm going to sign up for classes during the summer sessions this time around, I'm finding fewer and fewer reasons to come home... Oh well...

Well, I went to Big Boy with Ashlee yesterday and its weird how we can hang out for 2 hours and just sit and talk the whole time and actually hold a conversation for the whole time. Afterwords I finished up my computer and headed to work from 4-8, then came home, played some Unreal Tournament and went to bed. lol, I lead a very unexciting life.

I know it's been awhile since my last few posts, but my computer should be done on thursday (at least, thats what fedex is telling me). That means, more posts, and more online time. So anyways, here's a rundown of whats been going on with me, in short.

I've been dealing with ORU a lot since they're terrible about filing paperwork and the like, so I've been forced to reapply, re-register for classes, as well as re-sign the honor code... Do they not have a database of these things?! Anywho, I also built a computer for my brother in laws dad, and he loves it, and I made a few bucks off it too (going towards books, yay).

I went out with dave the other day as well, after having not seen him for about a month, and then later on that night me and Ashlee went out and saw "Christmas with the Kranks" and hit up the exit for some late nite food. She's pretty awesome. It's nice to have someone intelligent to talk to lol. (she's wicked smart).

hmmm... what else.... Oh, I have to call Express in Tulsa tomorrow to get my transfer in so I'll have a cool job while I'm at school (40% off express clothes... good enough for me lol).

So i have a few new toys to tell everyone about! :) And in 2 weeks, one more lol. Ok, so here we go. I finally got my computer built, however, being absent minded as I am, I forgot to order my video card. Anyways, I also got a new cellphone the other day. I decided that I actually wanted to spend money on one instead of getting the freebie like i have the last 3 contracts. So I opted for the Motorola V551 . It has bluetooth (so I can sync it with my HP Ipaq 1945) It also takes pictures, videos, and just about anything else you could ever want a phone to do. Next week I'm going to order my Video card (ati radeon 9600... nothing special... i'm saving for my Matrox RT.X10 non linear editing card). Also next week I'm ordering a new digital camera. My uber-crappy (although free) kodak easyshare 2.0 megapixel camera got lost somehow over the summer. It's going to be replaced with the Nikon Coolpix 3200. Only $160, and has some fantastic reviews (plus... its a Nikon). Thats one cool thing about being single around the holidays, all the toys get cheaper!

Anywho, thats all thats new with me. Just working, getting ready for school, and trying to get everything in order. Can't wait!!!!!!!

Sorry for such a long break, I needed it.

A lot of you know about the recent passing of my old computer. I went to turn it on about a week ago and it just fried itself (yay). Anyways, giving me a legitamite excuse to build this new one. The final specs are in (and the other 1/2 of the parts should be here tomorrow or thursday). I'm also building a computer for my brother in laws father, so that's pretty fun. Giving me some cash for it as well, and I need every penny right now.

School stuff is almost totally taken care of, I just need to sign up for classes and I'm done! :) I'm so happy to be going back... Ive learned the hard way that this is not the state for me anymore... Michigan doesn't hold anything for me anymore, sorry guys.

I've shut myself out recently, you may or may not have noticed. I'm done with everyone here. In the last few months I've learned that very few people care about anyone else other than themselves, so I'm done. I've quit returning calls, and I've quit MAKING calls to 90% of the people in my life. I figure that I've given everyone a substantial amount of opportunities, and now I'm finished. Actually, I've been finished for about a month now, to those of you who noticed. I'm ready to move on, without any of you.

The last few weeks have been awesome for me. Everything's been going really well. I really enjoy my job, I've been able to hang out with my sister and family more than I have in a long time, and I'm excited about going back to school. One thing sucks though... This will be the first time in 4 years that I've been alone during the holidays. Like I said, being alone is incredibly liberating, and I've been having a blast with it, but that's also what makes the holidays suck. I know I'll survive though lol, people do this all the time right?

I don't regret anything that has happened since I've been home. I'm so much stronger than I was back in August. If I had stayed in Oklahoma this semester, who knows where I would be. I needed this time to look ahead, for my own sake.

Why do I feel like I need someone this time of year? I hate being the odd man out with my family. Everyone has their *significant other* except for me. Actually, I'm the only one who's not married and doesn't have kids lol. So while everyone else is holding on to their spouse and playing with their kids, I'm off in my own little world, hoping that the time will come soon for me to leave for Oklahoma. Also... I dont have anyone to be sweet to this year... No reason for my to go out and buy a present and a sweet card for anyone... Just *keep getting shit ready for school*. I suppose I'm just trying to keep myself busy so that the loneliness doesn't hit me... I hate the holidays...

So a few cool things happened between yesterday and today. My motherboard , ram , and case are all in Columbus, Ohio right now. Hopefully they'll be in tomorrow. If they are I'll take pics and post them up for ya. Then every week for the next few weeks I'll be getting new stuff in :) yay! I'm also going to benchmark my PC now so I can have some comparison numbers for my new system, just so I can see the performance increase. The software I'm using to benchmark is 3dmark01, SiSoft Sandra 2004 Pro, and Super Pi.

I also got the new Eminem "Encore" cd yesterday. So far so good. His songs don't ever hit me right away, but they grow on me and slowly become incredibly addicting.

Family wise: My moms been really sick the last couple of days. Poor girl :( I've been kind of taking care of her, making her meals and stuff like that, whatever I can. I think it has to do with coming off a 2 week cruise and just not being ready for land, like reverse sea-sickness. Just a theory.

I called ORU today and asked for a booklet of classes for winter/summer this year, and finally got my renewed fafsa in (finally! jeez!). more loans to come soon. I have $5,000 so far, just need to come up with the other half. Shouldn't be a problem :) I think it's interesting that people really didn't think I was going to come back. Oh well, I'm excited! :) It's nice to see my dad proud of me too. That means a lot to me. He's really happy that I'm going full force for something I want, and doing well in it. I know its tough for him to have me so far away, but I'm happy that he's proud :)

Big news first of course: my sister sold her house today and both parties signed a purchase agreement, but there's also a third party pushing for a purchase agreement, so it looks like there may be a fight over who gets to buy her house. The plan is to sell their house, and then look for land on which to build a new house. While they're building their new house though they'll be living here, which is awesome, especially for Christmas and such. My dad is going to finish up the basement and get them moved in there, and Samantha will be sleeping in the blue room across from my parents. They would be moving into the bonus room but my grandparents are going to be staying with us for a couple weeks over Christmas as well (and the Christmas party is at our house this year as well), looks like I won't be lonely again lol.

I was looking for a place to game in Tulsa on google (since I'm going to be there again in january), and found this place - TulsaLan.com - It's a group of guys who get together and LAN once a week, give or take availabilit of space etc...

Smaller news: I sold my computer to Zach for $250. ($270 with the monitor). His computer is dead and he wants to go back college so this is my investment in his future lol. I also ordered my motherboard, RAM, and case yesterday as well. Hopefully they'll be here on weds. I'm going to order my hard drive and processor this next weekend.

So I start ordering parts this weekend for me new PC :) I'm pretty excited. I've made a few changes from my original ideas due to price drops, as well as being on a budget. I am also building a PC for my brother in laws dad (a clone pc of mine, or at least very similar, just a different case.)

So I took today off by giving my day away to Brittney (thanks britt!!). 4 days from the week before last, merged with my 7 day week last week, which merged with my 7 day week this week. I just couldn't handle it. Too rough on me, and being that I dont have any bills, it's kinda overkill. I did, however, get a 5 dollar giftcard to starbucks for working so hard lol.

I'm surprised at the response I got from my last post. It's not an *I hate you* post. it's an *Im angry at some of the things you do* post. Just a spot for me to vent. So I've had a lot of positive posts recently, and I've realized that things have been going very well for me the last month or so... Until today... I'm not sure why, but I'm feeling really depressed and melancholy today. I just don't really want to deal with anyone. Perhaps its the loneliness of the holiday's kicking in. Everyone wants to be with someone during the holidays. I just don't feel like there are too many people who care about me... Just feel kinda alone I guess. Maybe its me? So the votes are in, and so is Bush. I really enjoyed Kerry's concession speech though. I think Kerry had the best intentions and put his whole heart into his campaign. I don't believe he would have been the best man for the job, but I believe that he was sincere. More important than who won the election however, is how the idea of *parties* is tearing this country in two. Regardless of which side of the fence you're on, you're still an American, and we're all in this thing together. I love democrats, I love republicans, and I love libertarians even. As long as people have the drive and the will to try and make a difference and to make this world a better place, I commend them.

Congratulations to George Bush for winning a second term, and congratulations to John Kerry and John Edwards for putting up such a good fight. Elections aren't supposed to split us up, they're supposed to bring us together. Don't worry if you were a Kerry supporter, there's always 2008. So today is the big day. The day we choose a new leader, or remain with the tried and true. We'll see how it plays out tonite. Either way, I won't be able to watch it tonite since I picked up yet another day at work today, which means I'm working all 7 days this week without a day off. Yesterday was Beth's birthday, however, since she had the funeral for her best friend yesterday we decided to go out to dinner tonite to celebrate. Sad circumstances... I feel so bad for her, she has so much going on right now and it has to be difficult. We went to applebees and then to one of her friends apartment to hang out for a bit, then i made the long tiring journey home at midnite. *yawn*

It's been a long day for me, just a lot of crap really, nothing too significant... just irritating crap... However, I did come to several realizations. One being that me and beth have been friends for an incredibly long time (5 years or so now), and its grown from an attraction into more of a brother/sister deal. Hanging out with her tonite, I didn't feel the attraction I used to, it was more of a protective "im here for you" feeling. Oh well, who knows. I'm content with being a brother figure, I'm not certain I would want a relationship with her y'know? But I would really like to stay friends with her like we have been.

Kerry: this is another area where kerry's views are totally ambiguous. He mentioned on ABC news that he believes life begins at conception. His clarification of this? Apparently the "life" is not a "person" yet... therefore not protected as one.
Bush: Bush has put a ban on partial birth abortions and believes that abortion is wrong unless the mothers life is at stake.

Gun Control

Kerry: Him and Edwards (an asshole lawyer), think that gun manufacturers should be held responsible for gun crimes, and oppose lawsuits against them.
Bush: Supports a background check on gun purchases, supports tougher penalties for those who commit crimes with guns, and would restrict lawsuits against the innocent gun manufacturers.

I'm not going to get into the gay marriage... neither candidate supports gay marriage, however, we all know Bush will ban it, and Kerry will increase taxes in order to pay for all the homosexuals who wind up getting unemployment, medicaid, welfare, etc... for their families... No wonder he wants to increase the minimum wage, people can't afford MORE taxes on 5.25 an hour.

It's been a pretty mellow week for me, which is nice. We hired 4 new people, so I only have 3 days this week. Monday afternoon I went to the valley with Beth and her little sister to help them shop for an outfit for Beth. She's had such a rough time recently, her best friend died on saturday night from a car accident. :( I feel so bad for her, she has so much on her plate already, but she's going to be one strong ass girl when all is said and done.

Later on Monday night me and Matt went to go see Ashlee and Courtney at work lol. That's really all there is there.

Yesterday I watched my nieces for a little bit while my sister had an interview at Ralph Lauren in Birch Run. Then we got ready to leave and went to the Rainforest Cafe in Auburn Hills to celebrate Anna's 1st birthday. I crashed as soon as we got back at 10, I was tired as hell.

So everything was going awesome up until yesterday afternoon. Leah IM'd me yesterday, and sent my day spiraling for a few hours. It's amazing, she has the power to totally just ruin my day. So the last time I updated was thursday? what the hell happened since thursday?!

Friday I ended up just chilling at home, and took it easy because I had to work all weekend. 2 9 1/2 hour days. It would suck, but my job is crazy easy. I kinda just stand around and talk to hot girls... so i dont really think I can find something to complain about.

Saturday was just work. i worked 9-6 and then came home read some of the davinci code, made some phone calls and went to bed at about 10. Nothing special.

Sunday was the same, worked 11-9. Opened, closed, then had a meeting. It was pretty sweet though because the girls from Victorias Secret had a few pizza's left over from their meeting, so they brought them over to us for ours :) Then i came home, watched Southpark, talked to a few people, then went to bed early again lol.

A very boring weekend, for a very boring individual lol.

old friends and new developments

So some interesting *babysitting* stories for you from yesterday. I was watching my 2 nieces for my sister while she was out getting a root canal. Well, for starters, Anna's diaper was loose under her pajamas, so when she peed while laying on the ground, it soaked into her pajamas and into the floor underneath her. It's amazing, her pajamas were soaked with piss front and back lol. Took care of that, and about my sister called saying that she would be home in 15 minutes. *sweet! i dont have to change a crappy diaper...* and i thought too soon. I was in a dilemma. I could let the 1 year old baste for 15 minutes, or I could try and do the crappy diaper thing. After a 2-3 minute think-tank session, I changed her. I am so not ready to be a dad. I love kids, but I dont want any of my own just yet.

So today, i had the luxury of sleeping in. Went to the library at about 3 as well and saw Adam Smith on the way (odd, I assumed he got hit by a bus and went to hell....). Anyways, I put my name on a waiting list for a couple books, then saw Rachel Aube. It's been years since I've seen this girl, so I talked to her and saw her baby for a bit, then went to the mall with Zac. Not much to look at, but I did get to go into ExpressMen and price some new clothes for school.

The left wingers and the right wingers come out in full force, wearing their battle gear. People in the middle of the road, like me, often get caught in the midst of this battle. I, however, am innocent. I believe what I believe, not what a party believes. I believe some liberal ideas, and I believe some conservative ideas. But in the end, my ideas are mine, and no one can change that.
